What an exciting start we have had to 2011! Kicking things off with Mind Mapping in January helped us map out the topics that YOU were most interested in, resulting in a great program so far this year. Have you noticed that there seems to be a bit of a buzz at our meetings? People are connecting with each other before the meeting, and the energy level continues with lively interactions with the speakers afterward. Hope you are enjoying the programs and opportunities as much as I am.
The second half of 2011 should be just as engaging. In addition to our regular monthly lunch meetings, we have a full-day workshop planned for September. The presenters are none other than Dr. Jack Phillips and Dr. Patti Phillips, world renowned authors/speakers on the ROI Methodology. The focus of this workshop will be Measuring for Success, introducing participants to metrics for evaluating HR and learning and development.
Thanks to Roger Kitchen and Melissa Kilgore for making arrangements to have the Phillips be our presenters this fall. Mark your calendars now so you don’t miss it: September 20th at the Four Points by Sheraton. Keep your eye on our events calendar for more details about registration.
We are also planning to repeat our Holiday meeting format this year. We will combine the November & December chapter meetings into one Holiday event on December 6th. Start thinking about what mini topic, ice breaker, or best practice you might want to share with the group.
Looking forward to a fun, informative program the second half of the year. See you there!
