Old Business

The Board adopted a pre-paid dues policy, in which members may pay all annual dues in one lump sum equivalent to the cost of 11 programs, prior to the beginning of the year. A substitute may attend any meeting, in lieu of the member, with appropriate notification.

Train-the-Trainer: Locations for the Train-the-Trainer workshop, including one large room at the Sheraton Four Points, were discussed. Amy also polled board members about inviting Bob Pike to conduct a day-long workshop. The date is August 28th from 0900 – 1500. She will contact his organization for availability.

Gloria stated Adele Lynn, author of “Emotional Intelligence for Leaders,” is willing to come to Huntsville.

If Bob Pike is unavailable for the August 28 date, Eunice Johnson was identified as a Luncheon speaker for the August program.
