The board met at the Adtran, Inc. located in Research Park. The following board representatives were present: Georgia Wertman (Vice-President), Marsha Dollarhide (Secretary), John Hightower (Treasurer), Melodie Wade (Programs), Colleen Cain (Member-at- Large) and Gloria Stover (Past-President).
Call to Order
Georgia called the meeting to order. The April board meeting minutes were distributed and approved with recommended edits.

Future programs were discussed. Please see Attachment A for update.
Colleen will contact and visit Ana Waters at Direct TV to preview the site for the Train-the- Trainer workshop planned for August 28. Melodie will provide the current programs schedule to board members via email.
Melodie will also book the Sheraton Four Points for the meeting scheduled for December 18. Ideas for this event were discussed.
Train-the-Trainer: Eunice Johnson of the New York Times has confirmed as Keynote Speaker for the August Train-the-Trainer event. A "growing" theme was also identified for this event.
Member Relations:
Last month's meeting was not surveyed. Survey Monkey was reviewed, including the 10- question "free" account. Gloria will send the e-file of the annual survey to board members. At a minimum, a paper survey will be used to collect May meeting feedback. This will ensure meeting the CORE requirement.
Old Business
A motion was made and approved to accept a proposal for John to complete the analysis and decision required to provide members the option of using credit cards.
