Treasurers Report:
- Treasurer’s report was not submitted by Ronda Asta at meeting, but will
be emailed to board members
Programs:
- Lori reported that the evaluation feedback has shown several trends and
requests for programs: Emotional Intelligence, Neurolinguistic Learning, ROI,
and Internal and External Marketing of Training Programs. Plans are to
include as many of these topics as possible in upcoming program planning.
- Suggestion for Panel Discussion: Internal and External Marketing using
round table and/or panel format. Suggestions for panel participants
included: John Haley, Jennie Robinson, Lori King-Taylor, Janet Cherry, Cindy
Dodd, Julie Yarbrough, & Debra Dunbar. (this topic may be used for
October’s meeting).
- ROI specialist suggested was Anne Phillips
Membership: No specific discussions
Coordination of Newsletter Publication/ Website:
- Webpage mailing – John was approved to pay programmer costs for this
program. ($150.00 program costs). The link can allow members to delete
themselves if we choose to have this option. Discussion was held regarding
this "option" and the following questions/concerns were
identified:
- Does delete option notify the administrator that a change has
occurred?
- Site needs to contain a "spam" statement of some kind…
"If you would like to be removed…"
- Email bounces? Where do they go?
- All board members should have access to passwords and access to data
base
- Newsletter out this weekend
New Board Members:
- Meka is handling nominations for 2004 board members. Nominations will be
announced at October meeting and voting at November meeting.
- Outgoing program chair should have first three meetings of new year in
place (January-March) for incoming program chair
