Diamonds in the Rough - Why every Organization Needs Engaged Employees | Pete Blank

Discover the common traits of disengaged employees, analyze what role motivation plays in the engagement process and examine multiple methods and procedures to increase your own engagement.

According to The Alabama Business Confidence Index, the state of the economy is slowly moving in a positive direction.  But unlike the economy, employee engagement is remaining static, or even moving downward in some cases.  The numbers are scary…
  • 60% of employees intend to leave their firms as the economy improves this year (Workforce Management)
  • Only 45% of employees are currently satisfied in their jobs, down from 61% in 1987 (The Conference Board)
  • Only 21% of the current workforce is truly engaged at work (Towers Perrin)
Many employees are ready to jump ship, while those that stay are unhappy in their current jobs and are refusing to perform at a high levels.

Join us for the April meeting where Pete Blank explains how to discover the common traits of  disengaged employees, analyze what role motivation plays in the engagement process and examine multiple methods and procedures to increase your own engagement.
