Focus on:  Design

Get ready to become a Subject Matter Expert in Design with SFC Robert N. Coppage facilitating: The Systems Approach to Training

The Systems Approach to Training (SAT) is the Army’s training development process.  It is a disciplined, logical approach to making collective, individual, and self-development training decisions for the total Army.  It determines whether or not training is needed; what is trained; who gets the training; how, how well, and where the training is presented; and the training support/ resources required to produce, distribute, implement, and evaluate those products.  The SAT involves five training related phases: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation.  It determines whether or not training is needed; what is trained; who gets the training; and how and where the training is presented.

We will be discussing a systematic decision making process based on the training needs of Army or your organization. In order to make these decisions, you MUST BE a Subject-Matter Expert (SME) in the area that you are developing the training.
